Education

A community dog education project for schools

With the help of Mr Ray Griffin, Dogs Trust and Mrs Shirley Hill FPCC has developed an education booklet for schools promoting Responsible Pet Ownership. Our new colourful booklets have been sponsored by the Marchig Animal Welfare Trust and are either in English for older children or in Romanian for 10-13 year olds. The booklets are fun and have received a positive response from both children and teachers. Children who complete the booklets receive a FPCC T-shirt as a prize. There are further prizes for the best pupils.

We are full of hope, that the children`s parents and maybe politicians will understand, that the Romanian stray dogs problem couldn`t be sorted by killing the dogs, only assuming the responsability for this dogs, by the people which are feeding and carring about them.

In other words: THE RESPONSABILITY OF THE ANIMAL OWNERS..

From here, our slogan: Every dog deserves an owner!
