This morning, a rescue team intervened in Sititelec to capture a dog in a deplorable condition following a report from local residents. They stated that the animal had not only been abandoned by its “owners” but was also left with a long metal wire wrapped around its neck and one of its hind legs.

An Inhumane Act, A Fight for Survival

Fortunately, a few kind-hearted people did not remain indifferent and provided the dog with food, which helped it survive under harsh conditions. The capture went relatively smoothly as, despite being afraid of humans, hunger drove the dog close enough to allow for a safe intervention.

The Dog’s Condition: A Critical Situation

Unfortunately, its wounds are severely infected, and its chances of recovery remain uncertain. However, the rescue team is doing everything possible to provide the necessary care and give it a second chance at life. This case is yet another proof of the unimaginable cruelty that some people are capable of, completely devoid of any empathy toward helpless animals.

An Unexpected Surprise: The Rescue of a Pregnant Dog

Along with this intervention, rescuers also managed to capture a heavily pregnant female dog, who will soon be sterilized to prevent more stray puppies from being born.
