On Friday, 19 September 2025, our team was asked to help with the capture and neutering of a young female dog who was living in fear after being abandoned between Buduslău and Marghita.
According to those who requested our help, the dog and her sister had been thrown out a few weeks earlier. The sister was lucky enough to be caught and later adopted, but this one remained terrified — running in all directions and constantly at risk of being hit by a car.
The intervention required several attempts: after peaceful approaches failed, it became necessary to tranquilize her in order to prevent a serious accident. Right after the tranquilization, the dog escaped into a drainage channel. One of our colleagues bravely crawled inside the narrow space to rescue her. After sustained effort and some support from the team, both managed to get out safely.
The dog is now safe. Although still fearful, her condition is good. She will soon be neutered, after which she will be taken in by the person who asked for our help and who will continue her care.
