In recent weeks, we have shared updates about the collection of dogs in Sălacea and the neutering program they underwent. Today, we want to highlight the moment everyone was waiting for: their return home.
Owners showed responsibility by bringing their dogs for neutering. With the same enthusiasm with which they entrusted them to us, they eagerly awaited their safe return. The dogs came back neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and with a real chance for a safer and better-quality life.
Our colleagues provided each owner with practical advice on post-operative care to ensure the recovery goes smoothly. In addition, every family received a short written list of recommendations to serve as a reminder in the following days.
For Sălacea, this initiative is more than a single project – it is an essential step toward a more responsible and conscious community. It is crucial to understand that neutering is the only real and sustainable solution to prevent abandonment and animal suffering. Even if the message may sometimes seem boring, we will continue to emphasize it:
Neuter, don’t let them suffer! Adopt, don’t shop!
