Hello, dear followers!
We’d like to share with you a recent rescue mission that deeply moved us. About a month ago, a lady reached out to us asking for help to save two abandoned female dogs in desperate need.
They were two Cane Corso dogs, most likely mother and daughter, who had been living for months on a farm property in very harsh conditions. The lady asked us to capture them and have them spayed. After that, she committed to offering them a safe and loving home.
The mother was successfully captured on the very first attempt. She was spayed, healed nicely, and is now living peacefully under the care of the kind lady who reached out to us.
The daughter, however, was much more distrustful. During our first attempt, we couldn't get close enough to catch her safely. She was completely feral and terrified of people. We tried using a trap cage for several days, but she was too smart and cautious, always avoiding it.
This week, we finally managed to capture her. It wasn’t easy, but we’re incredibly thankful we could help again. The young dog is now in our care and is slowly getting used to human presence. She will be spayed next week and then join her mother at the lady’s home.
We thank everyone who supported us and especially the woman who didn’t turn her back on these abandoned souls.
